These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Seclabs CTF landing site and related services. By accessing or using our site you agree to these terms. This page provides a concise overview — for pilot programs, SLAs or legal inquiries please contact us at support@seclabs.be.
1. Eligibility & Age
You must be at least 16 years old to use our services, or have parental/guardian consent where required by local law. If you are registering a team on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.
2. Permitted Use and Prohibited Conduct
Seclabs CTF provides educational cybersecurity exercises. You agree to use the service only for authorized learning and training purposes. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- attempting to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or infrastructure;
- using challenges or platform resources to attack external systems;
- reverse-engineering platform internals beyond the scope of assigned exercises;
- sharing flags or otherwise facilitating cheating.
3. Accounts, Credentials and Responsibility
Teams and instructors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials. You must notify us promptly if you suspect account compromise.
4. User Content and Submissions
By submitting content (including challenge writeups, attachments, or reports) you grant Seclabs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of providing the service. You retain ownership of your submissions.
5. Flags and Scoring
Flags provided during exercises are intended for training and scoring only. Flags are deterministic per-team to discourage sharing. Any attempt to game scoring (mass submissions, scripted abuse) may result in suspension.
6. Privacy & Data
We collect the minimal data necessary to operate the service (team names, submissions, timestamps and limited telemetry). For full details see our privacy policy (contact support@seclabs.be for exportable data or deletion requests).
7. Copyright, DMCA and Takedown
If you believe content hosted by Seclabs infringes your copyright, please contact us at support@seclabs.be with sufficient information to identify the allegedly infringing material and your contact details.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The site and services are provided "as is" for educational purposes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seclabs disclaims all warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seclabs and its affiliates from any claims, losses or damages arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these Terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service for violations of these Terms or abusive behavior. Upon termination your access will cease; we may retain aggregated or anonymized data for analytics.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
